China Continues to be the Largest Palm Oil Importer from Malaysia in 2008

Malaysia Palm Oil Council: China imported 379 MT palm oil from Malaysia in 2008,24.6 percent of total amuont of Malaysia's palm export, ranked the 1st among the five largest import countries(region) which are China, Europe，Pakistan,America and India. The five countries(region) imported 910 MT palm oil from Malaysia in 2008,59.2 percent of total amuont of Malaysia's palm export. It is expected that in 2009 China will continue to be the largest importer for palm oil from Malaysia and the amuont will be more.
