Dear Friends,
China and Malaysia enjoy long-standing traditional friendship. It has already become a historic tale that Zheng He, the famous envoy of Ming Dynasty made 7 trips to the western seas and stopped over 5 times at Malacca. Currently, the two countries are witnessing enforced mutual political trust, frequent people’s contact and all-round economic and commercial cooperation. The China-Malaysia relation has already entered into its best period in history. In recent years, bilateral trade volume has always enjoyed a healthy and fast increase to stand at $46.4 billion in 2007, comparatively recorded an increase of 25% over the same period in 2006. Bilateral mutual investment is making steady progress which has already surpassed the average increasing rate of the two countries’ absorbing foreign capital. Bilateral cooperation in economic projects has also continuously obtained new achievements. It is more gratifying that economic and commercial cooperation between China and Malaysia possesses broad prospect and is filled with business opportunities. Entrepreneurs of both countries all attach great importance to this trend and they are busy everyday in collecting economic and commercial information so that they can grasp any possible business opportunities. By this website, we would like to meet the needs of business persons from both countries, and promptly provide reliable information concerning bilateral trade, investment and economic cooperation and so on.
Welcome to the website of the Economic and Commercial Counsellor’s Office of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Malaysia. We sincerely hope that this website can become your friend. Your comments and suggestions would also be highly appreciated.
